The month of May has been very mixed for Skin Deep as we have had to say good bye to Sanam, one of our beauty therapists. Although she is greatly missed by all of us, we are absolutely delighted to welcome Julie Batchelor, our new therapist, formerly of Indigo Beauty Spa in Solihull. With over 14 years experience in the industry, we have found Julie to be warm and welcoming, offering clients a professional friendly service. Until 30th June Julie is offering a medical microdermabrasion with red light therapy for £40 (rrp £60), quote SKI030 when calling to book.

Rabia continues her good work at Skin Deep and college, nearing the end of her NVQ 3 course. Offering clients threading, nail treatments including Shellac, waxing and Applisonix hair removal, Rabia is available on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Spring is here at last and it’s time to get ready for the summer! Some of our exciting treatments we have available for our Birmingham and Solihull clients include laser hair removal and state-of-the-art skin rejuvenation techniques.

Are you wanting to hold hands with someone special this Valentine’s? We have several treatments available to enhance your nails and hands to make them look smooth and attractive, from Shellac nails in gorgeous colours (£20 this February) to total hand rejuvenation with dermal fillers to replace lost volume and to rehydrate. As we age, we often take care of our face and body with specialists creams, Botox and fillers, visits to the hairdressers and to the gym however, our hands can tell a different tale! The backs of our hands can be veiny, dry, thin skinned and have a smattering of age spots. Using dermal fillers such as Radiesse and Teosyal Redensity we can plump up and rehydrate hands to make them look smoother whilst laser can get rid of age spots. Happy New year to all our clients and every one taking the time to read this blog. We hope you had a good rest and good times but perhaps by now the festive excesses are beginning to show?

At Skin Deep we find that a chemical peel and omnilux treatment is a great skin pick-me-up leaving your skin fresh and rejuvenated. For duller and congested complexions, why not try a medium depth peel (£130)…..not as scary as the ones you see on TV but your skin is fantastic 10 days afterwards. In January we’re including a free sunscreen with every medium depth peel (LA peel).

We’re so excited about our new pricing structure for laser hair removal. Instead of body areas, we now sell 15 minutes for £35. It takes 30 minutes to do an average sized pair of half legs or underarms, tummy button line and Brazilian. The time includes the pre and post consultation as well as the actual lasering, if you shave before hand then you get more lasering time!
